This naturally textured cotton-wool blend fabric is softly woven for a warm, cozy feel. Made in Niigata, Japan—a region with over 1,500 years of textile tradition—this fabric reflects the enduring skill of Japanese craftsmanship, historically rooted in kimono weaving techniques.

The fabric features vertical rectangular motifs and subtle border lines, giving it a waffle-like surface texture. Though it measures approx. 0.8mm thick, it feels soft and lightweight.

The color is a warm charcoal gray with a slight reddish undertone—appearing like a blend of dark brown and black under certain light, offering rich, layered depth that sets it apart from ordinary monochrome fabric.
