100% silk Nishijin-ori woven in Kyoto. VERY high quality.

This reproduces a famous pattern found on a screen panel kept in the Shosoin, Imperial Repository, in Nara, Japan, that was built in the 8th century. The pattern shows Persian influence, which suggests the fact that the Silk Road, an ancient trading route from Europe to China, extended to Japan.

Thickness: approx. 0.44mm

The button on fabric is 0.8inch (2cm) in diameter.
