Made from 60% cotton and 40% wool, this naturally textured dobby fabric is softly woven to create a warm, breathable touch. Produced in Niigata, Japan—a region known for over 1,500 years of textile craftsmanship—this fabric carries on the tradition of fine weaving once used for kimono fabrics. Its relaxed weave gives it a light, comforting feel perfect for modern garments.

Ideal for light jackets, blouses, dresses, or stylish bags and accessories, this fabric is designed for both men and women.

This version features threads of golden ochre and deep, near-black shades, creating a subdued earthy mustard tone. It's a sophisticated alternative to dark tones like black, offering a chic, fashion-forward option for those who appreciate subtle depth in color.

The surface has a soft, waffle-like texture with a subtle grid of vertical rectangles and horizontal bands.

Each dark rectangle measures approx. 3.5cm x 1.2cm.
